B-29 "Donald's Ducks" SN 4484044
At one point a German WWI pilot named Hans von Krishner credited with three kills was allowed to fly this plane. Krishner had become a US citizen and joined the Air Force. Donald Jones flew Co-pilot. The aircraft undershot runway on landing and crashed.

Aircraft landed in eye of typhoon once. It later burned on ground on hardstand at Kadena. Apparently the ground crew washed down a hot engine with gasoline. The plane was gone in 30 minutes. For more about the fire, click here.
